Punta Uva

near Puerto Viejo, Caribbean Sea, Costa Rica

Join us for this Caribbean beach excursion, situated between two gigantic wildlife parks, and located just feet away from the sea. Punta Uva rests between the Gandoca-Manzanillo wildlife preserve, at the base of the Talamanca mountains, and Cahuita National Park, just a short distance away through the beach jungle. The local restaurants have some of the most spectacular beach views imaginable, and just a short tuk-tuk ride away is the town of Puerto Viejo, with all of the amenities that one could expect of a small beach town. This tour features ample time to relax in one of our signature dwellings, crafted with gorgeous tico-style architecture, with direct access to reef-protected snorkeling beaches and cliffside views. We also have available culinary delights from around the world prepared on-site by our private chef, Iain. We have available tours of the animal rescue center, native coffee and chocolate production, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving (seasonal), sloth/monkey viewing hikes, sea kayaking through mangroves, horseback riding, and zip lining through the canopy, and many, many more. If there is a tropical outdoor activity you’d like to explore, we’ve got access. Or just rent a scooter and meander up and down the quiet, dead-end road, and explore the area to your heart’s content!
